Job summary

CSL is seeking a detail-oriented plasma handling technician to support sampling, testing, shipping, and storage of donor plasma. You will report through the center management to ensure accurate labeling and proper handling in a fast-paced setting.

Key responsibilities include collecting plasma samples, maintaining sterility, and ensuring proper storage and shipping documentation in accordance with SOPs and center procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are properly stored according to SOPs.
• Verify labeling against dynamic labels to ensure accuracy.
• Use sterile techniques to draw samples and maintain sterility of plasma unit samples.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as required by SOPs.
