Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer as per SOPs.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of plasma units according to SOPs.
• Verify that pre-printed labels match dynamic labels for accuracy.
• Maintain sterile technique during sampling; seal samples to preserve sterility.
• Prepare shipping and disposal documentation per center procedures.
• Monitor temperatures of freezers/refrigerators and report issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic management system.
• Adhere to health, safety, and OSHA policies; maintain a safe work area.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet operational needs.
