Job summary

CSL is seeking personnel to accurately sample, test, and ship plasma while maintaining strict adherence to SOPs. The role requires filing records, ensuring proper labeling, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma and a few months of lab or warehouse experience, with basic math skills and willingness to learn sterilization procedures. Some duties may be performed cross-functionally, with potential bilingual needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs and handle unsuitable units.
• Verify pre-printed labels match dynamic labels for accurate unit labeling.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to maintain sterility.
• Prepare shipping and disposal documentation and pack units per SOPs.
• Monitor freezer/refrigerator temps and record variances; report issues.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information system.
• Adhere to HSE/OSHA policies and promote safety.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required at organization’s discretion.
