Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a detail‑oriented technician to collect plasma samples, store units per SOPs, and ensure accuracy of labeling and documentation. The role requires sterile technique, basic math, and adherence to safety policies in a fast-paced lab/warehouse setting.

Responsibilities include shipping preparation, equipment calibration, donor data entry, and maintaining a clean workplace. Cross-training and overtime to support center needs may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs and handle unsuitable plasma as needed.
• Verify labels match pre-printed and dynamic labels for accuracy.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and ensure sterility of plasma unit samples.
• Pack and ship samples and units following SOPs and center procedures.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation.
• Monitor freezer/refrigerator temperatures and report variances; calibrate equipment as required.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies; promote safety in all actions.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
