Job summary

CSL is seeking a detail-oriented plasma center staff member in Virginia to collect samples, ensure proper storage, and maintain unit labeling accuracy. You will work in a fast-paced environment, following SOPs for sterility, packing, and shipping, while keeping precise donor records in our information system.

The role requires basic math, attention to safety, and the ability to handle sensitive donor materials. Overtime and cross-training may be required to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Will perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer per SOP.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs and handle unsuitable units.
• Verify labeling accuracy by comparing pre-printed and dynamic labels.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to maintain sterility of plasma unit samples per SOPs.
• Pack and ship samples and prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report any equipment issues.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Cross-training possible; bilingual skills may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
