Job summary

CSL is seeking a Plasma Processing Technician in Oklahoma City to collect plasma samples, ensure proper storage, labeling accuracy, and adherence to SOPs. The role focuses on preserving product quality through sterile technique and careful handling.

You will operate in a fast-paced environment, monitor temperatures, document donor data, follow safety policies, and may cross-train in other areas. High school diploma required; 3 months lab/warehouse experience preferred, with basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math calculations required.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to the freezer to ensure product quality.
• Ensure plasma units are properly stored according to SOPs.
• Verify that pre-printed labels match dynamic labels for accuracy.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to maintain sterility and quality of samples.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as needed.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report variances.
• Perform daily calibration of equipment per SOPs.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
