Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a healthcare professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis, administer immunizations, and provide emergency care to donors and staff. You will interview donors, respond to medical questions with leadership, and maintain accurate donor records while upholding safety and confidentiality.

The role requires active licensure in the state and preferably experience in a plasma/whole blood center.

Qualifications

• Active professional licensure as required by the state.
• Experience in a plasma or whole blood center is preferred.
• Ability to assess donor health status and potential adverse events.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Administer approved immunizations and provide emergency medical care.
• Promote positive donor relations and conduct donor interviews for suitability.
• Respond to medical questions with Center Medical Director/Physician as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the management system.
• Maintain safety, SOPs, and confidentiality; cross-train as needed.
• Explain informed consent and donor immunization schedules to donors.
