Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a medically qualified professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis, supervise immunizations, and provide emergency care within licensed practice. You will ensure donor safety, maintain confidentiality, and document data accurately in the center's systems.

Responsibilities include donor interviews, medical history reviews, and responding to medically related questions with the Center Medical Director.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure in a medical field is required.
• Experience in donor screening or blood/plasma centers is preferred.
• Ability to explain procedures, risks, and informed consent to donors.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Provide immunizations administration and supervision as needed.
• Offer emergency medical care to donors and staff within licensure rules.
• Promote positive donor relations and conduct confidential interviews.
• Review donor health history and test results for ongoing suitability.
• Counsel donors on reactive tests and refer for follow-up as needed.
• Document donor data accurately in electronic systems.
• Ensure safety, SOP compliance, and maintain clean work environment.
• May cross-train in other areas and may require bilingual skills.
