Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a medical professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis and oversee donor health assessments. You will administer immunizations, provide emergency care within SOPs, and counsel donors on results and follow-up.

The role requires strong donor communication, data recording, and adherence to safety and confidentiality policies in a busy plasma center.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure in paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, naturopathic training program or medical school.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a health care environment or clinical experience.
• Experience in a plasma or whole blood collection center preferred.
• Ability to perform physical assessments and donor instruction.
• Local legal/educational requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Administer approved immunizations and provide limited emergency medical care.
• Promote positive donor relations and conduct donor interviews.
• Respond to donor medical questions with Center Physician guidance.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
