Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a healthcare professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis, provide limited emergency medical care, and interview donors for medical histories. The role involves collaborating with the Center Medical Director to address donor questions and interpret test results to determine ongoing eligibility.

A valid clinical background and prior plasma center experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited paramedic, nursing, PA, chiropractic, medical or naturopathic program.
• If graduation is from a foreign medical school, must be licensed as a physician or state EMS certification.
• For NY: current RN/MD/DO license or reciprocal state.
• Minimum of one year relevant healthcare experience.
• Experience in a plasma or whole blood collection center preferred.
• Ability to perform physical assessment of heart and lungs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures under supervision.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews.
• Respond to medically related questions with Center Medical Director.
• Review test results to determine continued donor suitability.
