Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is hiring a plasmapheresis technician to execute venipuncture and plasma collection, ensuring safety, donor comfort, and high-quality product output.

The role requires adherence to FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP standards while maintaining meticulous records. You will operate automated plasmapheresis machines, respond to alarms, and monitor donor conditions to support our mission of providing life-saving medicines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Completion of training documentation prior to duties performed.

Responsibilities

• Execute venipunctures and plasmapheresis procedures with safety.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and comply with SOPs.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms and alerts.
• Monitor donor condition and ensure safety and product quality.
• Calibrate and maintain automated plasmapheresis equipment; document logs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
• Drive training efficiencies and perform routine QCs on equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
