The role requires flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will use the Donor Information System, maintain donor charts, coordinate compensation, and participate in process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• 1+ years of customer or patient-facing experience is helpful.
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and implement changes using approved procedures.
• Work varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
