Job summary

Takeda, through BioLife, is seeking a part-time Plasma Center Screener/Phlebotomy support in Tulsa, OK. The role centers on donor screening, phlebotomy for plasma collections, and ensuring donor safety while maintaining accurate records.

You will work closely with the Plasma Center Manager, handle donor questions, and participate in a fast-paced environment with varied shifts including weekends and holidays. A high-school diploma is required, with glove-wear duties and potential lifting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens; prolonged glove wear.
• 1+ years in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet and focus on donors; ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and maintain records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and implement approved changes.
• Support donors across varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
