The role requires a high school diploma, 12 months of medical environment experience, and CA-certified phlebotomy technician I or an active CA RN license. Knowledge of SOPs and donor data recording is essential.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• For Centers located in CA the following experience is also required: Persons performing automated plasmapheresis procedures must be at a minimum state certified as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I, OR Current Registered Nurse by the State of California.

Aufgaben

• Collect plasma from donors via venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process.
• Perform all aspects of the pheresis procedure and plasma collection per SOPs, including donor setup and monitoring.
• Ensure donor safety and product quality; respond to donor issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system as outlined in SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, efficient work environment and stock supplies; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
