Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a plasma donor center technician to perform pheresis and venipuncture in accordance with SOPs and FDA guidelines.

You will monitor donors, operate PDA, record data in the donor information system, and help ensure safety, quality, and a positive donor experience.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 12 months in a medical setting; CA centers have additional phlebotomy or RN requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• For Centers located in CA the following experience is also required: state certified as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I OR current RN by the State of California.
• Different qualifications or responsibilities may apply based on local legal and/or educational requirements. Refer to local job documentation where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and supervise the pheresis process in compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines.
• Monitor donor safety and adjust procedures to ensure donor comfort and product quality.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system and document incidents with the PDA.
• Perform calibrations and maintenance checks as outlined in SOPs and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to HSE and OSHA policies.
