Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a medical professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis, administer approved immunizations, and provide limited emergency care. You will interview donors, explain consent and risks, and maintain accurate records in the donor information system.

You will work with the Center Medical Director to respond to medical queries, supervise immunization programs, and ensure SOP compliance while upholding safety and confidentiality in a dynamic plasma donation

Qualifications

• Active state licensure from a paramedic, nursing, PA, chiropractic, naturopathic training program or medical school.
• Minimum one year in health care or clinical experience; plasma center experience preferred.
• Ability to assess physical signs and donor suitability and provide donor education.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures and supervise immunizations.
• Provide limited emergency medical care and administer treatments per licensure.
• Promote positive donor relations and conduct confidential donor interviews.
• Respond to donor medical questions with center physicians; discuss donor issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system and maintain SOPs.
• Manage immunization programs and review antibody titers guidance per policies.
• Explain informed consent, risks, and immunization schedules to donors.
• Handle donor adverse events and refer to clinicians as needed.
