Job summary

CSL Plasma in Houston is seeking a licensed clinician to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis, administer approved immunizations, and provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff in line with SOPs.

You will perform confidential donor interviews, review medical histories, and respond to medically related questions with the Center Medical Director, while maintaining accurate donor records in the management system.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure in a relevant clinical field required, or foreign medical graduate with license/EMT.
• Minimum of one year experience in a health care environment or clinical setting.
• Experience in plasma or blood collection center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis and administer approved immunizations.
• Conduct confidential donor interviews to obtain information on suitability to donate plasma.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff and escalate as needed.
• Respond to medically related questions with Center Medical Director and staff.
• Review donor medical histories, health assessments and test results to determine ongoing suitability.
• Maintain accurate donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality and adherence to SOPs, HSE and OSHA policies.
