Job summary

CSL is seeking a qualified healthcare professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures and to supervise immunizations. This role includes interviewing donors, performing medical history reviews, and responding to donor inquiries under supervision of the Center Medical Director.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, medical school or naturopathic medical training program
• If graduation is from a foreign medical school, must be licensed as a physician or EMT state certification

Responsibilities

• Promotes positive customer relations with all donors.
• Conducts confidential donor interviews to assess suitability to donate plasma.
• Coordinates with Center Medical Director/Physician on donor suitability questions.
• Performs medical history reviews and health assessments for donors.
• Notifies and counsels donors regarding reactive test results and refers for follow-up.
