Job summary

CSL Florida seeks a qualified medical professional to oversee donor suitability, immunizations, and emergency care during pheresis procedures. You will conduct donor interviews, review medical history and test results, and respond to medically related questions with the Center Medical Director.

You may perform medical history reviews and assist in maintaining donor safety and confidentiality. Responsibilities include ensuring informed consent, documenting SOPs, data accuracy in the donor

Qualifications

• Active state licensure from paramedic, nursing, PA, chiropractic, naturopathic program, or medical school required.
• Foreign medical degree may be accepted if currently licensed or EMT certified.
• Minimum of one year healthcare experience or clinical experience from vocational/nursing program.
• Experience in plasma/regulated center is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical assessments and evaluate donor suitability.
• Ability to instruct donors and staff about donation programs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Administer immunizations and provide emergency medical care as needed.
• Promote positive donor relations and conduct confidential interviews.
• Review donor medical history and test results to determine eligibility.
• Educate donors on informed consent and handle adverse events.
• Maintain donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Ensure safety, SOP compliance, and confidentiality.
• May cross-train in other areas to meet business needs.
