Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor collections professional to perform venipuncture and pheresis procedures in our centers. You will set up donors, monitor during donation, and ensure compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines to deliver safe, high-quality plasma.

You will document donor information, educate new donors, respond to alarms, maintain a clean work area, and support safety and efficiency on the donor floor. California centers have additional certification requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a medical or health care environment.
• For Centers located in CA the following experience: State certified as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I, OR Current Registered Nurse by the State of California.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and pheresis procedures in compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines.
• Monitor donor during pheresis and ensure donor safety and comfort.
• Set up donor, monitor donor, and disconnect donor.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Educate new donors on the donation process and related policies.
• Maintain a clean, efficient work environment and restock supplies.
• Respond to equipment alarms and incidents as needed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

12 months experience in medical/health care environment

California: Certified Phlebotomy Technician I OR RN (California)
