Qualifications

• Or foreign medical school degree with current physician license or EMT certification.
• At least 1 year healthcare experience; plasma/blood center experience preferred.
• Ability to perform and interpret basic physical assessments (heart, lungs, signs of drug use).
• Ability to educate donors and staff about plasma donation benefits.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis.
• Administer immunizations and provide medical care per licensure.
• Promote positive donor relations and interview donors for suitability.
• Collaborate with Center Medical Director to address medical questions.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system and maintain confidentiality.
• Handle emergencies per SOPs and ensure safety compliance.
