Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a medically qualified professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures and administer approved immunizations. You will supervise donor health assessments, respond to emergencies, and maintain accurate donor records in the information system.

The role emphasizes conducting confidential donor interviews, explaining informed consent, and promoting safety and compliance with SOPs, HSE, and OSHA.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure from a paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, naturopathic training program or medical school.
• Foreign medical school graduate may qualify if licensed as physician or EMT in the state.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a health care environment or 1 year of clinical experience from a vocational or nursing institution.
• Experience in a plasma or whole blood collection center or other regulated environment preferred.
• Ability to assess physical heart and lung sounds and signs of drug use.
• Ability to instruct donors, staff and community regarding the benefit of plasma donation programs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Administer approved immunizations other than red blood cell immunizations.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff per licensure.
• Promote positive donor relations.
• Conduct confidential donor interviews for suitability.
