Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a qualified clinical professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis and supervise immunizations in our Douglas, AZ center. The role includes conducting donor interviews, health assessments, and confidentially reviewing test results to ensure ongoing donor safety.

Responsibilities also cover counseling donors on informed consent, handling donor data in the electronic system, and maintaining strict adherence to SOPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure from a paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, naturopathic training program or medical school required
• Completion of a foreign allopathic or osteopathic medical school and only if also currently licensed as a physician or certified as an EMT in the state
• Minimum of one year experience in a health care environment or one year of clinical experience from a vocational or nursing institution

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures
• Administer and supervise immunizations; provide emergency medical care to donors and staff as permitted by licensure
• Promote positive donor relations and conduct confidential donor interviews to assess suitability
• Respond to medically related questions with Center Medical Director/Center Physician
• Review donor health assessments and test results for continued suitability; advise on reactive results and referrals
