Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Plasma Center Technician responsible for donor eligibility, plasma collection, and product processing while maintaining strict compliance with SOPs and regulations. The role emphasizes high-quality donor experiences and accurate recordkeeping.

Responsibilities include operating plasmapheresis equipment, monitoring donor safety, and mentoring staff as a designated trainer, with opportunities to contribute to quality improvements and CAPA initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Three (3) months' experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred (location specific).
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and perform plasma collection in accordance with SOPs.
• Set up and operate plasmapheresis equipment, troubleshoot alarms, respond to adverse events, and disconnect donors when procedures end.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain donor confidentiality.
• Maintain donor center records in compliance with SOPs and company policy.
• Mentor and train staff as a Designated Trainer; collaborate with Quality Assurance on CAPA and continuous improvement.
• Perform inventory tasks including First-In-First-Out procedures to ensure product quality and availability.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety through routine QC and proper biohazard disposal.
