Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking dedicated staff to support plasma collection and processing in our Indianapolis donor centers. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain donor safety and a high standard of service, and manage the day-to-day operations and paperwork with accuracy.

The role requires strong organizational skills, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Training is provided and career growth is supported.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Three (3) months experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
  • Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
  • Ability to speak, read, write English required.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required.
  • Ability to understand verbal instruction required.
  • Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures total operation is compliant with state and federal regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP) to maintain high production standards and facility compliance.
  • Maintains high level of customer service and donor experience in line with company values and culture.
  • Maintains cleanliness of work area and stocks supplies to meet production demands.
  • Maintains Donor Center equipment per SOPs and manufacturer instructions.
  • Monitors donor conditions to ensure donor safety and plasma product quality.
  • Maintains donor confidentiality per company policy.
  • Keeps complete and accurate records per SOPs.
  • Troubleshoots machine alarms and performs daily/monthly quality checks on equipment.
  • Cleans spills and disposes of biohazardous waste properly.
  • Ensures donor eligibility criteria per SOPs.
  • Performs finger stick for Microhematocrit and Total Protein determination.
