Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is expanding and seeks a dedicated team member to support plasma collection and product processing at our donor centers in the United States. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain donor safety and confidentiality, and assist with processing and storage of plasma products.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, attention to procedure, and ability to work varied shifts in a fast-paced environment. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
  • Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
  • Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required.
  • Ability to understand verbal instruction required.
  • Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures total operation is compliant with state and federal regulations to maintain production standards and facility compliance.
  • Maintains high level of customer service and positive donor experience.
  • Maintains cleanliness of work area and stocks supplies to meet production demands.
  • Monitors donor conditions to ensure donor safety and quality of plasma product.
  • Operates plasmapheresis machines and responds to machine alarms and donor adverse events.
  • Performs finger stick for Microhematocrit and Total Protein determination.
  • Performs other job-related tasks as assigned.
