Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability for pheresis.
• Assist donors in completing screening procedures per SOPs, including health history and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screening measurements: blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature, and finger-stick hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate donors on the use of therapeutic products from donated plasma after appropriate training.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
