Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor center receptionist to greet donors, register them and verify eligibility for plasma pheresis at our center in the United States. You will assist with screening processes and maintain donor data accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma, and at least 3 months of clerical or customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting. You may be cross-trained and bilingual abilities could be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and register them to verify suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors with screening, including health history, questions, and basic health checks (BP, pulse, weight, temperature).
• Perform finger stick samples to determine hematocrit and total protein levels as part of donor screening.
• Educate donors on screening processes, center policies, appointment system, and nutrition as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system and maintain confidentiality.
• Respond to donor questions and escalate issues to staff as appropriate.
