Job summary

CSL Vifor seeks a Donor Center Associate at our Jackson plasma collection center. You will greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through screening steps to ensure safe plasma collection.

You will perform basic health checks, assist with admissions, document donor information, maintain a clean workspace, and follow all SOPs, HSE and OSHA requirements. Some roles may require bilingual skills and cross-training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist with screening, health history, and basic medical questions.
• Educate donors on the donation process and related policies.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed.
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions during/after pheresis.
• Record donor data in the electronic information system.
• Keep the work area clean and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
