Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking a plasma donor screener and phlebotomy support to join our center operations. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and interact with donors daily, ensuring safety, accuracy, and high-quality donor care.

You will screen donors, record vital signs, and maintain donor charts using our information system. The role requires a high school diploma, the ability to stand for long shifts, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and implement changes using approved procedures.
• Support donors across varied shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
