Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review test results, and notify donors of unsuitable outcomes. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance within a regulated plasma collection environment.

Responsibilities include evaluating donor safety, supporting vaccination programs, and coordinating with Environmental Health & Safety for incidents.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensure/certification requirements for applicable role.
• Clinical experience preferred in hospital/clinic settings.
• Follows FDA and BioLife Education and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, manage informed consent and donor testing per SOPs.
• Assess donor reactions and coordinate with Center Physician for medical issues.
• Coordinate with Medical Affairs for medical guidance and donor safety.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Assist EHS with incident reporting and investigations.
