Job summary

The Plasma Center Specialist at B Positive Plasma LLC in Bethlehem, PA works under the supervision of the Center Manager and Medical/Laboratory Director to ensure donor suitability and product integrity in compliance with FDA/state regulations and SOPs.

The role involves operating specialized equipment, documenting activities, and maintaining a safe, clean facility while supporting donor health and satisfaction. Training provided; health-related background helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent (must show proof).
• Previous health-related experience helpful.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register donors.
• Administer health history questionnaire to donors.
• Assess and record donor weight and vitals.
• Set up, operate, and maintain donor qualification equipment and processing/storage devices.
• Perform Quality Control and routine maintenance; report equipment issues.
• Quarantine and discard unacceptable samples and products.
• Pack, label and ship samples to meet supplier requirements.
• Attend to donor needs and reactions; promote customer satisfaction.
• Travel up to 25 miles for training or staffing needs.
