Job summary

B Positive Plasma LLC is seeking a Plasma Center Specialist to operate under supervision and ensure donor safety and product integrity in a regulated center. You will perform phlebotomy, manage donor health information, and maintain equipment while adhering to FDA/state SOPs.

The role requires precise data handling, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 25 miles for training or staffing support at other centers. A high school diploma and health-related background are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent (must show proof).
• Previous experience or education in a health-related field helpful.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register donors.
• Administer health history questionnaire to donors.
• Assess donor weight and vitals.
• Ensure facility and equipment are clean and maintained.
• Operate and maintain donor qualification and donation instruments; perform QC and maintenance.
• Communicate delays to center management and nursing staff.
• Manage supply inventory and restock as needed.
• Document activities and issues.
• Answer donor inquiries.
• Quarantine and discard unacceptable samples/products.
• Pack, label and ship samples to meet suppliers’ requirements.
• Store products in sub-zero freezer and maintain organization.
• Prepare site and perform phlebotomy.
• Attend to donor needs including reactions.
• Promote customer satisfaction through responsive service.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Travel up to 25 miles for training or staffing needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
