BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Plasma Center Paramedic – EMT-P to support donor screening, eligibility, and safety in Fort Wayne, IN. This full‑time role includes on‑the‑job training and day‑1 benefits, with a focus on accurate medical assessments and donor safety.

The position reports to the Plasma Center Manager, working under physician guidance for medical issues. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and on‑demand pay options, with potential for growth within the center network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program credential may apply.
• Currently licensed or certified as EMT-Paramedic in the filing state.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history and examination.
• Manage donor adverse events and review test results per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with EHS as needed.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist investigations.
