BioLife Plasma Services is seeking an EMT-Paramedic licensed Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) for our Indiana plasma center. You will determine donor eligibility, monitor safety, review test results, and notify donors of unsuitable results while working under the Center Manager and Center Physician.

The role requires availability on weekdays and weekends with varied schedules. We provide comprehensive benefits, paid training, and opportunities for growth within Takeda.

Competenze

• EMT-Paramedic license is required in the state of responsibilities.
• Current CPR and AED certification is required.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Mansioni

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, HIV education, self-exclusion, and history review.
• Assess donor reactions and manage emergencies per SOPs and physician standing orders.
• Consult Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs where applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER and EHS.
