Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Medical Staff member (Paramedic, EMT-P / EMT-I / AEMT) to manage donor eligibility, adverse events, and laboratory result reviews in a fast-paced plasma center. You will work under the Center Manager and Physician guidance to ensure safety and quality in every donation.

Responsibilities include adherence to SOPs, coordinating with Medical Affairs, and supporting EHS initiatives while promoting patient-focused care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• EMT-Paramedic license and CPR/AED certification required.
• Experience in clinical or hospital settings (2+ years).
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and obtain informed consent.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician/Medical Affairs for medical issues or urgent concerns.
• Support vaccination programs and Occupational Health as applicable.
