Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified as Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer.
• Typically requires 4 years of related experience with phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing duties.
• Knowledge of FDA, OSHA, CLIA and cGMP regulations.
• Work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise donor flow and production staff in the plasma center.
• Maintain familiarity and compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP SOPs.
• Oversee donor selection, plasma collection and records to maintain high production standards.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of records.
• Assist Center Manager in keeping the facility clean and equipment in good working order.
• Submit timely reports to the Center Manager.
• Assist in training new staff and retraining current staff.
• Maintain communication with other service areas for documentation and quality.
• Build rapport with donors to support long-term donation.
