Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a capable operations leader to oversee the daily functions of a plasma collection facility in Newark, DE. You will manage staff, monitor production metrics, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves coordinating audits, forecasting production and cost targets, and maintaining donor and employee safety under regulatory guidelines. Weekend availability and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree desired.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a medical or other regulated field or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to work weekends/extended periods and travel occasionally.
• Requires CPR and AED certification.
• Must be mobile for entire shift and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations within the facility and monitor metrics using data.
• Oversee hiring, training, and development of staff.
• Provide leadership to ensure donor retention, customer service, production monitoring and cost data.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations related to product quality, safety, and donor protection.
• Manage facility audits and resolve related issues.
• Forecast production and cost goals while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Manage bloodborne pathogen protocols.
