Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a facility operations leader to oversee staff, regulatory compliance, and production performance at our Newark plasma center.

You will manage daily operations, drive donor service excellence, and ensure safety with federal and state regulations, while leading cost control and audit processes. Strong leadership and regulatory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a medical or other regulated field or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree desired.
• Ability to work weekends/extended periods and occasional travel.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Must be mobile for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform related physical tasks.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception and ability to monitor equipment sounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations and use data to monitor metrics.
• Oversee hiring, training and development of employees.
• Provide leadership to ensure donor retention and high service levels.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
• Manage facility audit processes and resolve audit findings.
• Forecast production and cost goals while ensuring compliance with regulations.
