BioLife Plasma Services in Newark, DE, seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You determine donor eligibility, review test results, manage donor adverse events, and follow center physician guidance to ensure safe, compliant collection.

You will participate in safety programs, assist with vaccination initiatives, and coordinate with the Center Manager and Medical Affairs to address medical or technical issues. Previous clinical experience is valued.

Qualificações

• Must hold current state EMS/medical license or certification (EMT-B/A/I, Paramedic, LPN/LVN, RN).
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, physical exam and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical findings.
• Support vaccination programs for employees (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu).
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance; may serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized.
