Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Jacksonville, FL, is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the plasma collection facility's daily operations and supervise staff across production areas.

You will manage financial, regulatory, quality, and facilities tasks, using data to monitor metrics and drive donor satisfaction while meeting production and cost goals. This role requires leadership and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in a medical or other regulated field.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; higher level degree preferred.
• Ability to work weekends/extended work periods and occasional travel.
• CPR and AED certification are required.
• Requires ability to be mobile for entire work shift; lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations and use data to monitor metrics.
• Oversee employee hiring, training and development.
• Provide leadership to ensure donor retention and high service levels.
• Comply with all regulations related to quality, safety of product, employees and donors.
• Manage facility audit processes and resolve related issues.
• Forecast and attain production and cost goals while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage bloodborne pathogens protocols.
