Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Facility Operations Manager in Jacksonville, FL. You will oversee the plasma collection facility’s operations, lead staff, manage budgets, quality, regulatory compliance and audits to ensure donor safety and product integrity.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or higher, 3+ years in a regulated field, CPR/AED certification, mobility to work a full shift including weekends, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a medical or regulated field.
• Ability to work weekends/extended periods and occasional travel.
• CPR/AED certification
• Mobility to be mobile for entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations within the facility and use data to monitor metrics.
• Oversee employee hiring, training and develop employee talent.
• Provide leadership to ensure donor retention and high customer service levels.
• Comply with federal, state, local and company regulations related to quality, safety.
• Manage facility audit processes and resolve issues from audits.
• Forecast and attain production and cost goals while ensuring compliance.
• Manage bloodborne pathogen protocols.
