Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equiv., preferably in Science, Business, Nursing, Finance, or related field.
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience in clinical or general business experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment preferred.
• Experience with plasma or whole blood preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meeting quarterly goals, staffing/hours per labor efficiency standards/cost per liter (CPL) targets and Quality KPI goals.
• Create appropriate organizational environment and value systems to stimulate morale and productivity.
• Operates the center and manages employees and operations to the highest standard of ethics and integrity.
• Manages staff to ensure training and quality goals are met and to implement operational changes and maximize center efficiency.
• Monitor and evaluate operations; develop action plans to maximize center efficiency and supervise process improvements.
• Manages headcount to provide efficient staffing with production spikes; provide projections to reg management.
• Directs all personnel functions including hiring, assignment and direction of work, development and training, disciplinary actions, and records maintenance.
• Provides strategic direction and planning.
• Oversees donor selection, plasma collection and shipment and records completion.
• Ensure adequate training of production employees and demonstrate how tasks are performed to meet company standards.
• Maintain inventory levels of goods and supplies for center operations and oversee ordering.
• Ensure facility is neat and equipment is in good working order; oversee freezer management and plasma shipments.
• Develop community representation for public relations and marketing to attract and retain donors.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and SOPs (FDA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP).
• Directs with Training and Quality staff to meet training and quality goals.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term donation.
• Prepare annual budget with Div/Corp management and manage facility to meet targets and cost structure.
