Job summary

Grifols, located in Eagle Pass, TX, seeks a Plasma Center Operations Manager to oversee donor center operations, ensure donor safety, regulatory compliance, and production goals. The role provides leadership to frontline staff and acts when the Center Manager is absent.

The position requires coordinating with Training and Quality teams, managing personnel, budgets, and schedules while maintaining high production standards and compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; preferably in Science, Business, Nursing, Finance or related field.
• Typically 3+ years of related experience in clinical or general business settings; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment preferred.
• Experience with plasma or whole blood preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day donor center operations when the Center Manager is absent.
• Collaborate with Training and Quality staff to meet training and quality goals.
• Coach staff through effective feedback to Operations Supervisors.
• Monitor operations; develop action plans with Center Manager to maximize efficiency and oversee implementation.
• Manage personnel functions including hiring, training, performance, and records.
• Assist in budget preparation and help manage the center to meet production and quality targets.
