Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified as a Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer.
• Typically requires 4 years of related experience with phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ability to perform all tasks within the plasma center and supervise donor flow.
• Learn and maintain familiarity with state and federal regulations, FDA-approved SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and internal procedures.
• Supervise donor selection, plasma collection and related records to maintain high production standards in accordance with regulations.
• Attend all required training sessions and staff meetings.
• Ensure accurate documentation of necessary records and reports.
• Assist Center Manager with training of new employees and with center objectives.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term donation.
• Report unsafe situations or conditions to area lead, supervisor, or manager.
• May be trained to repair plasma center equipment.
