Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to assist plasma center operations under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance. The role also supports vaccination programs and EHS compliance.

The position involves evaluating donor eligibility, reviewing SPE results, managing donor safety issues, and ensuring adherence to SOPs during medical emergencies. This full-time role is based in Irving, TX.

Qualifications

• Nurse licensed (RN/NP/PA) with active state credentials.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Experience delivering IV therapy and clinical care.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility for plasma donation and manage adverse donor events.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Follow SOPs for medical emergencies and donor safety guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and ensure environmental, health and safety guidance.
