Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Plasma Center Nurse (RN) in Abilene, TX for hands-on donor assessment and center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor safety, review test results, and support center health programs under physician guidance. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN/NP/PA license in Texas or as applicable
• Current CPR and AED certifications
• Complete FDA training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
• Two years clinical or hospital experience

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history
• Assess donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for complex issues
• Support vaccination programs for Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu
• Assist with occupational health and EHS incident guidance
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS
