Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) in Abilene, TX. The role includes determining donor eligibility, managing adverse events, and reviewing test results to ensure donor and patient safety.

You will work under Center Manager guidance, support vaccination programs, and participate in EHS initiatives. Requires nursing licensure (RN/NP/PA), CPR/AED, and prior clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified as RN, NP or PA in the assigned state.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and consent processes.
• Manage donor adverse events and review lab results.
• Support donor safety and transport in emergencies following SOPs.
