BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations in Vancouver, WA. You will determine donor eligibility, monitor safety, review test results, and coordinate with the Center Physician for medical guidance.

The role requires medical licensure or EMT credentials and clinical experience. State-licensed practitioners (EMT-A/EMT-P or RN/LPN/LVN) with CPR/AED certification are preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent to include nursing program graduate requirements.
• EMT-A/EMT-P or licensed nursing credentials (RN/LPN/LVN) in the responsible state.
• Current CPR and AED certification; FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including consent, medical history, and donor acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer complex findings to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and assist EHS guidance.
• Assist with incident management and occupational health/ER follow-up.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
