Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or certified as LPN or LVN in the state where responsibilities will be assigned.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Fulfilling state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training completion.
• At least two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education, and self-exclusion.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for abnormal findings or guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance.
